skin eruption, constipation from bowel cleansing?

hi bob, agnes and everyone,

last week i did a Dr. Schulze #2 cleanse. it was my first ever bowel cleanse. i also had a pretty major cough/cold so i was consuming mostly water, fresh juices, herbal teas, 1 superfood drink in the morning and a big salad with a flax/lemon dressing in the evening. i took a little extra psyllium to compensate for the lack of fibrous foods.

i finished the cleanse. i was quite constipated during most of it and a couple of days afterwards. not fun. even when i increased my normal doseage of IF#1. i truly drank plenty of liquids. did i not have enough food to push the IF#2 through? i know from reading and conversing on these forums that folks do p/b shakes while on the master cleanse, so i'm wondering where i went wrong to get so bound up.

i developed an area of bumpy scratchy skin on my back at the beginning of this cleanse. its still there. its located vertically between my shoulder blades and the pelvis bones, more on the right side of the spine than the left, but some on the left too. its not discolored or inflamed, i can't really even see it when i look in the mirror. i think its individual pores that are aggrivated. i don't usually have skin disturbances like that.

oh, i also started dry skin brushing while on the cleanse. and hot/cold showers too.

i'm pretty sure this skin thing is a release of some toxins. and i'm curious about it. wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, or any info on this sort of reaction.
