lymphodemia?

Does anyone know anything about lymphodemia ( hope I spelled it right). My cousin has had hysterecomy followed 5 years later with a breast removal followed 7 years later with the second breast removed. They removed lymph nodes with the second breast. Her arm now swells and swells and swells... She has had two infections since November landing her in the hospital in the arm that swells. Any thought on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
