There are all kinds of techniques for emotional release.

At the physical level cleansing does wonders for your emotions. Liver Flushing especially will help you release stored emotions along with physical toxins. Improve the functioning of the liver and you'll improve your emotional health.

Your colon is also a very important organ to cleanse. Diet and other factors will go a long way to refresh your mind, body and spirit.

At the spiritual level you can try a meditation that you feel is right for you. The purpose of this is to quiet the mind and silence the chatter of the mind...just to simply be. In this state powerful things begin to happen.

At the emotional level you can use all kinds of techniques to release old conditioned patterns. One such therapy is NLP. There are many more. Explore your options and see what resonates with you.
A great book to read for some interesting insights is "Freedom From Judgement" by Andreas Moritz .
