Doctors

Thanks for that, Rinna...I got to blow off some steam just reading your post. There aren't many things that get me angry...but doctors are one of them. I have had some ridiculous experiences with doctors as well. The simplest being that I was about one foot away from this doctor who was just checking out something I was wondering about. I asked him a clear question about my condition....the beats went by one by one...as I sat there sooooo bewildered....he just continued writing away on his pad of paper. HE NEVER ANSWERED ME! or even acknowledged that I had asked him a question! Wow. That is bizarre behaviour. He just didn't deign to answer my plebian question!

Have you ever seen Woody Allen's 'Sleeper' where he and Diane Keaton are in a futuristic hospital and they have to put on a doctors disguise so they won't be recognized in the corridors of the hospital, by patients? They slip on their white coats then he, as though putting on his 'disguise', looks down his nose and says under his breath: 'Peasants...!'

Well, well...looks like we have a little venting thread here...
