Could you have pain in your kidneys from the stone? Sure. Bodies are very peculiar things. Why do gall bladder problems cause shoulders to pop out of place? Why does harming an internal organ by taking a drug reduce the sensations of pain during a headache? What the heck causes a headache, anyway? Etc.

Could that stone have been putting pressure on your kidneys? Well, one, at least. Or it could have been helping to pinch a nerve to one or both kidneys, or to your adrenals, or... Or maybe it was the collection of stones, which, having been released, have allowed the gall bladder to move a bit and release some pressure it was placing on some nerves. Or... so many possibilities.

As for in your head, I was being silly. Just because something's "all in your head" doesn't mean it's not also real... *grin* Sometimes, the feelings of paranoia occur because someone really is after you, too.
