Where are my stones?

Do I really have gallstones? Is there a way for me to find out myself? Arrr! I had an ultrasound of my abdomen because I had left side pain. The ultrasound revealed gall bladder sludge and stones. Doc suggested I have it out; I said no! I'm not suffering from gallstones, or at least I think I'm not. So I did the flush, got nothing, didn't feel bad about it, and will do it again, just in case I do have stones. I had a cat scan yesterday, and there isn't anything on the cat scan in my gallbladder! Do they not show up or anything? I did see my gallbladder in the ultrasound, and it just looked like a messy blob, but maybe the doc saw Gallstones in it. I'm not a doctor. I can't even think straight right now.
