Re: Question for you Kelly and whoever else...
Hi, Well, I have learned in many places on the internet
that foods like this can inhibit stone formation and help to break them down:
apples
radishes
whole grains
veggies
fruits
legumes
pears
parsnips
seaweed
lemons
limes
turmeric
sage
cumin
and flax seed oil
Also, try whole oats or oat bran
peas
beans (all)
fruits
psyllium
potatoes (just baked or boiled)
lentils
barley
broccoli
spinach
prunes
cabbage (if you can)
BROWN RICE
these have a lot of soluble fiber which keep fat from getting to your blood stream and liver
Dandelion root causes bile to flow, as well as artichokes. Obviously, flax seed oil, and olive oil. Lemon juice is great too. There are other supplements good for the liver too like milk thistle, etc. I have learned that your intake of food needs to be about 70 percent raw fruits and veggies, fruit and veggie juices, seeds and nuts, except peanuts, teas like green tea, pure water, distilled or spring. You should avoid animal fat and meats (saturated fats), avoid trans fats (margarine, fried food). Have a little cholesterol, but not much. AND AVOID
Sugar three
Sugar molecules together is a triglyceride and high triglycerides equal stone formation. BY
Sugar I MEAN refined sugar, white flour, any ADULTERATED grains (only eat whole grains), avoid white rice. Lose weight if you have to but take eat things to stimulate bile flow a couple times a day (oils) or yogurt or cottage cheese or herbs (there are more than I stated, I can't think of them right now). This all depends how bout your stones are. Mine are REALLY bad right now. I feel like doing a cleanse every day! but I can't. All this info and more is waiting for you on the internet. I wish I knew this a year ago. GOod luck! Kelly
