Re: hypoglycemia and the flush

I keep my blood glucose moniter kit and some snacks on bedside table.I also keep vegetable broth (no fat) in ref. in case I need it. I also find if I eat a lot of protein the day before the flush I do better during the flush. After I drink the OO (Olive-Oil) I try not to eat for at least 5 or 6 hrs. I test my glucose during the night and before I get up in the a.m. So far my glucose level hasn't fallen below 70. I was concerned about this also, but after 7 flushes I haven't had a problem yet. Remember the 1/2 cup olive oil is a lot of fat and that seems to keep blood Sugar from falling. Good luck! Best thing is to relax if you can.
