Re: Crohns disease and cleanses
Hi Tracy:
I’m glad to see that there’s another Tracy posting here, welcome to the forum. From what I understand, yes, a
Colon Cleanse is recommended. But not using the Intestinal Formula #1, which stimulates peristaltic action. With Crohn’s Disease, you don’t need to stimulate any more peristaltic action. You already have too much. You need something to calm and sooth the bowel. Another factor, is just how bad is your condition? Do you have extensive bleeding from a large number of lesions? Or is there any bleeding at all? How you treat this, to a certain extent, depends on the severity of your condition. One of the first things to do, is to do a high enema. You can use a very mild Lobelia solution if there is cramping. This will clean, sooth, and empty the entire colon all the way to the illeo cecal valve. Sometimes catnip tea in the enema solution will help with a spastic bowel. When you do the high enema, go slow and enjoy it. This isn’t something that you do in five minutes. Take an hour or two. And it’s much more pleasant when you have one or two people as a support team to help you.
If you have lesions, and your bowel feels like it is on fire, use an aloe vera implant after you finish the high enema. Fresh aloe vera seems to work best at putting out the fire.
You can use Intestinal Formula #2 for a short period of time. But for continual use, use Intestinal Formula #3, it’s the same formula, but without the charcoal. Charcoal can pull out vital nutrients.
There is a lot more to treating Crohn’s Disease than I’ve said here. But maybe this is a start in the right direction. There are pages and pages of instructions that I could give you, just on doing the high enema. And that’s only one part of it. I hope this helps.
One thing more, when you’re doing the high enema, remember to breath:).
Good Health,
Tracy
