Re: Hidradenitis Suppurativa

I have had HS for about 15 years now and was only recently diagnosed with it because the long string of incompetent doctors i have been to had no clue what it was. I also get them on my bikini line, under my breasts, on my waistline, and genital area. I also get them on any surgical site. I was always told mine was either staph or ingrown hairs. What bothers me is they say it is rare but how could they know since there arent many doctors that even know what it is when they see it? Anyone else have that problem? Tweet
