Major tin toxicity

Has anyone ever delt with tin toxicity? I cannot find much info on it. I have been painting with pastels (you use your fingers, thus it is in constant contact with the skin when you are using it) for many years, and seem to have picked it up over this time. My tin level was 75, where as 10 or less is considered ok. I did one month of EDTA chelation (suppositories), and it came down 15 points. I waited a couple months and then did another month of EDTA chelation, but I just got the results back and it went back up to 70. The doctor said on a little note attached that it appears we are stirring up tin.

My main problem is that cannot lose weight. My body will not let loose of any. I eat good whole foods (most of the time- I definately eat WAY better than most my age, I am 19), and in normal amounts. I get exersize (I work in the garden, run, and now, ride my bike, ect.) Has anyone had an experience with tin toxicity keeping them from losing weight? My slow weight gain did begin a little while after I started painting. I started in art at about 8 yrs, started chunking up a bit around 10. I am currently about 30 lbs overweight (luckily I do hold it pretty well).
