have you considered giving them a drink that you choose for your child? and insisting that as parents you have that right.

then maybe you could have him given fresh juice in a thermos..etc?

and may have some wonderfully helpful info to share with you

I am appalled that anyone would give any child a diet soda to start with for ANY reason!
aspartame and its counterparts immediately and drastcially affect me.. giving me tremors/ body shakes the whole deal..

i hope they recognise the high degree of responsibility they have towards your child with anything they give him.
