Re: Filters

I don't have any hard research on Brita, but I'm not impressed. I've used it and the water didn't look or taste any better than from the tap. It's a "lightweight" if you want really pure water.

Think of a 3-legged stool. Any leg missing or shorter than the others wrecks the balance of the stool.

The 3 legs are air, water, and nutrition. I have a good air purifier in my home. I've done everything I can to reduce dust mites and mold. I use a good quality distiller for pure water. I eat organic foods as much as I can and steer away from nutrionally useless or harmful foods. (Okay, the food part is the hardest.) What I cannot get in food, due to this toxic world, I supplement with some of the purest and most powerful products around.

For a third of the equation, I think it's worth it to splurge on the distiller. One dollar a day for a year and then it's paid for (and a lot sooner if you purchase bottled water).

Just my opinion!!!
