Initial autopsy results have not revealed the cause of death of a 9-year-old Bay Area girl who collapsed after soccer practice.
On Monday, the girl fell to the ground at Grant Elementary School in Antioch as her team was huddled for a pep talk. One of the coaches attempted CPR, but Ariana Williams was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later. Her mother says Ariana was a healthy, active girl.

Dear Ulysses Torassa:
With regard to your article [in the San Franciso Chronicle], it is all too common for athletes to drop dead on the field, and the reason why is that 70% of the population and 40% of our kids are using the neurotoxin Aspartame (NutraSweet/Equal/Spoonful, E951, Canderel). Aspartame triggers an irregular heart rhythm and interacts with all cardiac medication. It damages the cardiac conduction system and causes sudden death. It also can cause cardiomyopathy and there is a report about it on www.wnho.net - click on aspartame. It's written by Dr. James Bowen. You will also see several articles on Aspartame and sudden death. Sudden death has become so epidemic that two Parliamentarians petitioned the World Health Organization to call it Sudden Death Syndrome so they could track it. In fact, on July 30 there was a radio newsclip that defibrillators are going to be sold now over the counter. There was even a cartoon in the Atlanta Journal Constitution showing someone in a drive-in paying their dinner check and getting a defibrillator. The last child I know of that died in the gym playing was a 6 year old in Illinois. Student athletes have died here in Georgia as well.
I'm constantly getting these alerts on the athletes dropping dead. The FDA has tried to cover it up by saying ephedra is doing it but the famed Dr. John Olney researched the FDA's records and said ephedra is safe. See Ephedra story on www.wnho.net And after all, Ephedra is no longer on the market and yet the athletes continue to die. The aspartic acid in aspartame is an excitotoxin (product that literally stimulates the neurons of the brain to death causing brain damage). Neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock, M.D., says to take magnesium to protect the brain and heart from excitotoxins. He also says that when athletes run it depletes magnesium. And then they are using aspartame so they just don't have a chance
Neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock, M.D., discusses aspartame and sudden in a couple of articles on www.dorway.com including Aspartame, Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) and other excitotoxins and the Hypothalamus. It's also in his books Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills and Health & Nutrition Secrets To Save Your Life, www.russellblaylockmd.com
H. J. Roberts, M.D., discusses aspartame and sudden death in the article aspartame and chest and cardiac problems on www.dorway.com and in his books including Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic, www.sunsentpress.com
James Bowen, M.D., writes about sudden death and aspartame quite frequently and a lot of his quotes are in the articles on www.wnho.net
A new movie on aspartame, Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World (contact cori@soundandfuryproductions.com ) films Diane Fleming in a Virginia prison sentenced to 50 years in prison for poisoning her body building, athletic husband, Charles, with methanol. Charles Fleming was a diet soda addict and used other aspartame products as well. Aspartame liberates free methyl alcohol. In fact, the chronic methanol poisoning affects the dopamine system of the brain and is what causes the addiction.
Lawsuits have now been filed against 14 of the largest companies in the world for knowingly poisoning the public with aspartame (www.wnho.net ). And more news is coming.
The first weekend after labor day is Aspartame Awareness Weekend. Please publish this letter to save many more youngsters from dropping dead from this neurotoxic drug. Allow people in San Francisco to know aspartame triggers sudden death. Please ask parents if Ariana was using aspartame. Many times its in their pediatric vitamins, over-the-counter and even prescriptions drugs. It is also in 9000 products and climbing. Wrigley's has put aspartame in most of their gums and this avenue is very serious because its bucccal, works like nitroglycerin, goes through saliva straight to the brain.
All my best,
Dr. Betty Martini, Founder, Mission Possible Intl, 9270 River Club Parkway, Duluth, Georgia 30097 770 242-2599 www.wnho.net and www.dorway.com
