Book & Author suggestions please

I listen to a LOT of audio books since I have a long commute to work. I'm glad I found this forum because I'm always looking for good books to listen to. I like a wide variety of stories fiction or non. I especially like something that keeps my interest so the drive seems faster.

I would appreciate any suggestions so I can check the library for CD or tapes. Old, new whatever!

I also have quite a few suggestions to post.
