I am not sure this is the right forum, so please help me to redirect my question if I am in the wrong spot. I currently study fine arts very seriously. My thought was that someday the freedom I was/am allowed in this field will allow me to make broader decisions and help in less confined ways than if I was to choose a very specific Science or medical practice. I am realizing, though, that I do not have as many practical options as an "artist" and that maybe art should remain a hobby or a passion rather than a hopeful tool. This being said, what medical or scientific fields do you (hopefully some of you are raw foodists or naturalists or...) feel are the most free from corrpution- are the most open to very liberal research? Which fields do you recommend studying-- how come? Which fields will still be useful when diseases like cancer and osteoporosis and altzheimers are proven to be functions of chemicals we ingest or, in other words, preventable? Where is there a need for thought? Thanks for your time.
