This anti-obesity initiative story is NOT supportive of anyone. It's a joke! It's politics! It's passing the buck!

This storey is made of the same stuff that the story about the person who sued McDonalds because they had heart disease was made of - or the four-pack-a-day smokers who have sued Phillip Morris.

Doesn't ANYONE take responsibility for their actions anymore. MUCH obesity is caused by people who won't get off their fat butts long enough to exercise or stop drinking a 12 pack of Miller "Lite" every night. And, there's the fat little kids who's parents allow them to sit around passively playing video games rather than making them go outdoors and play actively. So, quit blaming Bush, McDonalds or whoever, get up, exercise, and stop eating and drinking so much!!

Guess what! I am quadriplegic AND I am obese. I'm quadriplegic not because my car tires were faulty, and not because the road needed repair, and not because rescue workers didn't secure my neck when moving me. I'm quadriplegic because I was driving too fast and lost control of my car!!! I'm obese because I'm confined to a powered wheelchair AND I eat too much!! I'm not proud of it but it is the truth.

Come on people, take responsibility for your actions or inactions, as the case may be.


To you folks who truly are obese to know real fault of your own then you certainly do have my sympathy and support.
