I have doubts about Vega test too!
I went through Vega test recently at a naturopath clinic. Although I had doubts but I decided to give it a try, since I believe in (and sometimes practice) traditional chinese medicine, acupuncture, herbal medicine and Chigong. The test took more than 15 minutes, it was about 1 hour and the practitioner tested more than 200 food items. Mainly, I was found to be allergic to all
Sugar products and substitutes (I mean all and the practitioner was surprised too.) I was also allergic to rice and wheat, and being Asian that will just about eliminate anything I eat. When I was young, I was severely allergic to shellfish, but I loved it so much I just kept eating. Surprisingly, I was not allergic, according to the test, to any seafood. What bothers me is that toward the end of the test, the practitioner ran out of samples in the vials and simply put packages of the food products on top the honeycomb of the Vega test machine, and there was electrical impedance showing my allergy to those food items. That really cast a dark cloud on the validity of the test.
