1st Constitution Bank

1st Constitution Bank http://www.1stconstitution.com celebrated the grand re-opening of its Plainsboro branch in the new Plainsboro Plaza this past Saturday. Customers lined up before the doors opened at 9 a.m. and were still leaving the bank after its scheduled 3 p.m. close time.
Assistant Treasurer and Branch Manager Wendy Mantz called the event a huge success. “Not only did we attract new customers but the atmosphere of our bank really leads to new friends. We had folks here today who joined the bank at our original opening 8 years ago who simply came out today because we are like family.” The event had the feel of a family’s Fourth of July picnic as customers chatted with each other and with bank personnel. Deposit slips and coin counting came complete with bagels, hotdogs, and a DJ as well as balloon animals and face painting for the children.

Mantz added, “We were very happy to see so many families opening children’s accounts. It’s a great way for the little ones to learn the value of saving.”

76 year old Grace Myslinski traveled 45 minutes from Woodbridge to attend. “I love the way you are treated here. I opened a savings account a few weeks ago and I came down to see the new branch today. It is absolutely gorgeous,” she said.

Mantz, along with Bank President Robert F. Mangano, Vice President Andrea Pagiazitis, Director Charles S. Crow III, and Plainsboro Deputy Mayor Neil J. Lewis cut the ceremonial Grand Opening Ribbon before customers and the press around noon.

Manager Mantz said that the bank gave away hundreds of free gifts. She said that they had ordered enough incentive gifts that they would continue to provide them to customers opening new accounts over the next few weeks while supplies lasted.
