Sweet fruit contains a lot of sugar (various kinds) in concentrated form. If you consume large amounts of these fruits or press them and drink their juice, the body is faced with the challenge of processing more of these sugars than it possible can. The pancreas has to come up with extra large amounts of insulin, especially when juices are ingested. Often there is not enough insulin, so there is too much sugar in the blood, which affects liver fuctions, temporarily at first. Fruit juices lack the bulk (fibre) that normally helps to break down fruit and their sugars more gradually without overtaxing the pancreas, blood and liver. So fruit juices can be more harmful than fruits, if consumed in large amounts or too often. The liver is in charge of converting simple sugars such as fructose into complex sugars, but can handle only a certain limited amount. Glucose and fructose cannot be stored away in their simple forms. Overtaxed, the liver may signal blood vessel constriction and temporary congestion. The gallbladder, too, may contract abnormally. This can be felt as dull or sharp pain in the right shoulder area, which is the liver and gallbladder zone.
In addition, the tempoary congestion in the liver prevents the diaphragm from extending to its full capacity, hence the lung restriction and breathing difficulty.
The entire action and strong presence of fruit acids can lead to loss of minerals and vitamins in the body. The advice is to eat fruit in moderation, 1-2 pieces per day and avoid fruit juices or water them down. Eating a lot of raw food is already enough of a challenge for the body due to the high concentration of antibodies in the skin/husk/shell of these foods. These antibodies are part of the plant's highly sophisticated immune system, but are toxic to the human body. When consumed in large quantities these antibodies have a strong "cleansing" effect since they stimulate the immmune system to get rid of them. There is also loss of minerals and vitamins. But eventually, even a young body and strong immune system may eventually become exhausted because of this constant purging.
