Questions about Dr. Schulze's Simple Garlic Poultice

I have a very small spot (about 5 mm) on my stomach. It has changed shaped so I'm assuming it's cancerous.

I've made an appointment with my doctor however in the meantime I had decided to try Dr. Schulze 's Simple Garlic Poultice. I kept the slice of garlic taped over the spot as directed hoping it would "burn off" in 1 to 3 weeks as indicated. Well, I only lasted a week becaused the skin around the spot burned before the spot actually came off. Now, I'm sitting here with an aloe patch on it.

Is there a better way to do this simple garlic poultice.

I was wondering if maybe Tom H. had any ideas. I have his site bookmarked!
