Re: Doses of Vitamin B5?

Small amounts help prevent deficiency but for Acne help, you need much more. 1 or 2 mg a day won't help you. Take 3,000 mgs of Vitamin B5 3 times a day and you should see improvement in your acne, and the pores might shrink in size, as well. If you have severe Acne then take 3,000 mgs 4 times a day. This is just the Vitamin B5 you buy at the drug store or health food store. This is a high dose, but B vitamins are water-soluble, thus practically impossible to overdose orally.
For more information about b5, see the previous page, page 22, my post that says "Vitamin B5/Pantothenic Acid Information."

I am not familiar with prices, but what places did you try? GNC (theirs might be more expensive)? Family Health? NTUC pharmacy? Watson's? Pretty much any pharmacy or healthfood store should do. I think you only need the cheapest one, and B vitamins should be pretty cheap anyway.
