Dear chandasa,

My heart goes out to you. I am no expert, but pure organic aloe vera gel or aloe vera juice would probably help reduce some of the swelling/redness you describe.

Organic olive oil or organic coconut oil might also help restore needed moisture to your skin. I suggest organic products because they are most pure and I have found other kinds to be extremely irritating to my own skin.

My guess is that you need to find something to moisturize your skin, but most commercial mosturizers can actually dry out the skin in the long run and aggravate acne.

I wish I had more a more definitive solution for you, because I know how painful these things, even though temporary, can be. Just remember that your skin will heal with time.

I have found a line a skin care products that are really nice. When your skin heals from the garlic juice, you might want to check them out. I'll provide a link below.
