If you're looking to add some tasty fiber to your daily diet, and psylium doesn't cut it (it is good to switch from psylium to something else after several weeks of use as Shelleycat points out), this is wonderful alternative that I found (somewhere on the web, who knows where, too much spent reading too many things :-):
put in a blender equal amounts of (raw) flax seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and almonds (I also add unhulled sesame seeds) and blend all into a powder. Use about two to three tblspns of mixture a day, put on anything - cereal, smoothies, on veggies, stirfrys, soups (after cooking), it's delicious.
