Re: brown rice pasta

Interesting...
Personally I can only do grain in minimal amounts...extremely minute.
I'm weary of pasta... it's just not a natural food really.
What about eating brown rice just by itself?
Japanese studies have revealed that brown rice must be soaked 22 hours prior to cooking in order to attain maximum amounts of nutrients and to increase absorbtion.
Example some nutrients increase sometimes 10 times after the rice soaks... due to germination process.
Also brown rice must be kept in the refrigerator due to oils in it that can go rancid..
I have a great recipe for soaked brown rice if you like
It's absolutely delicious...

This is rice made Haitian style!!!!

Recipe
1 cup organic brown rice
Soak brown rice for 22 hours... rinse and discard the water it was soaked in.
Chop two green onions... (the long skinny kind... not the round kind)
Chop just one if you don't like the taste of onions too much
Put one tablespoon of oil in the pot, I use organic grapeseed oil..let it get slighly hot and put the green onion in...
once the smell takes over the kitchen pour
3 cups of water... bring it to a boil...
Add 1 teaspoon of celtic Sea Salt
Add your brown rice... let it boil also and then cover it up completely...
Simmer for half an hour... may take less time.
after 20 minutes or so...add some organic grass fed butter on top.
The most delicious brown rice you will ever taste!!!!!!

Use cups of water if you want your rice to be mushy and similar to sushi rice...
Amazing!!!!!
