Stumpy...we're at the very Southern tip of Illinois. Eight
minutes from the Kentucky line...and we have several
communities within an hour or so drive.
In our area...we just found out where the communities were...and just
drive down the old country roads...they have signs up that say...
Milk For Sale.....or Butter for Sale,....you can get eggs,
jams, jellies...we even have a few "grocery stores" that sell
flour, cornmeal, fresh fruits and veggies...the milk, butter, etc...but we like to go to the homes and talk to the people and
hear their stories, etc. They are a very friendly group of people...at least, the ones around here are.
Do you want to say what part of the country you're in...and I'll
see what I can find near you. kathryn
