Re: Anybody here NOT Irish or Native American?

Funny I came across this my mommy is from Belfast....and her life was worse than "Angela's Ashes" if you ever saw the movie or read the book- yes I inherited the Irish temperament. My Mom is always saying when I get taken advantage of or pushed into a corner-"Where's your Irish?" Well it's there but from my up bringing of never to disrespect people especially your elders- how could I have ever figured out a way to express my anger toward anyone in a non-abusive way- so when it gets so bad-especially under the influence of alcohol-I turn all that rage on myself-because I feel defenseless.......
