Young Marriage

In Islam children are allowed to married as soon as they receive their menstrual period. And as I quoted to Adhi, Aisha was a child, married at the age of 6, and they did not have sexual relations until she was age 9. However, we know that the body of a young girl cannot accomadate the umm "manpiece" of a 52 year old man, and not be somewhat injured by that. Once again, 9 years old are not mature, no matter what Muslims say. Hadith clearly states she still played with dolls, and a mature mentally healthy girl no longer plays with dolls.

What would the purpose of marriage be? Well in marriage the possibility of having children is very likely. So, if this marriage is reasonable like you claim, and not pedophilic (is that a word?) Do you really think that the body of a 9 year old is ready to accomadate a child? Even most young girls having children at 13, 14 and even 15 lose their children, because their body is just not prepared for that stress, its still a young body. So its not a westernized thing that children cannot carry children, its a worldwide thing. When you enter a marriage, you should be able to produce a child if desired and be able to do that healty. Face the facts....a 9 year old is not ready to bear a child, and no matter which way you turn it, she was not a mature girl.

Now, Adhi, liked to point out that in Muslim countries girls are more mature at a younger age. We may have some immature children here in the US just as anywhere else, but maturity is on a more individual basis. Except in certain circumstances where parents die young, and the children have to step forward to care for younger siblings. This is the case of many orphanages, they mature quicker due to special circumstances ( I worked in a Ukranian orphanage last summer) I have been to 5 continents, and 70 countries, indonesia included Adhi, and I did many many projects where i was around vast amounts of children. I did not meet one 9 year old prepared for marriage, and i believe that if they were to have Sex at that age, the psychological damage would be irreversable.

Do you think at 9 years old a girl can have sexual pleasure and actually have lust for a 52 year old man? Of course you will say well times then were different....but it can't be that different. When Aisha was 9 she enjoyed playing with dolls, running around, and so on, So do girls today. Her mind, and todays girls mind was not even conceiving of having sexual relations (except in bizzare circumstances). A 9 year old girl does not have the means to consent to sexual intercourse. It sickens me that people can think otherwise. I do not believe this is westernization, i believe its common sense unless you are blinded...or brainwashed.
