Another thing about Christmas...

I have been noticing how very hard it is to buy a gift... for anyone...
because everyone already bought the things they need and want for themselves.
Among my family and extended family, anyways.

I remember in the "Little House on the Prairie" books, Laura and her sisters would get something like one orange and a penny for Christmas - and they would be thrilled!
How times have changed.
