OK, yes....I'm quite familiar with confessing sins from which He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse me. Years of daily experience as a matter of fact....LOL And yet in all this time I had never heard this process of His unmerited grace referred to as, "the rebound technique", so I was quite stumped...

Exposing false doctrines is part of our charge for the trip; to contend for the faith. However if in so doing we fall into the temptation of ridiculing and scoffing others personally, then I should think it would be an excellent time to put the "rebounding technique" into practice, as it does very little to uphold and further the cause of Christ. However your apologies are received, thank you.

We are all in need of continued reminders from each other as we strive to walk through the narrow gate, but it might be wise to note that not all posters here are lacking in discernment, and fruit carries just as much weight as truth. Even the sweetest delicacy will taste bitter if served without kindness, in which case the whole purpose of having desert will be lost by the delivery.

And yet, as sad and reprehensible as these actions appear, it pales by comparison to the direct offense to the Holy Spirit in denying His supernatural favors upon the redeemed. A few weeks ago there was a post which came from a brother here who is usually extremely cautious when discussing the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit. At the time this post was put up I was very pleasantly surprised, and reading it blessed me. I'd like to re-post it, just in case someone out there missed it, as well as reminding the brother that he is missed in this little community.
