Mt 24 &24 known as "The Olivet Discourse" is The Lord's discourse is divided into three parts: — 1. The general condition of the disciples and of the world during the time of the testimony, to the end of Mat_24:14; 2. The period marked out by the fact that the abomination of desolation stands in the holy place (Mat_24:15); 3. The Lord's coming and the gathering together of the elect in Israel (Mat_24:29).  It is all about the nation Isreal and the comming 70th week of Daniel (the tribulation period), not chrurch age believers.  The Bride (Church Age Believers) does not appear in this parable.

This parable in "The Discourse" has Church Age application, but in context it relates to The Nation Isreal and The Jewish remnant.
