Re: Does God still heal?
hello all ... i just joined CureZone to respond to this question. i have been a christian for about 2+ years now. i tithe 10% of my income pre-tax dollars and i do it gratefully. tithing is about trusting God and giving your first fruits to Him. i believe that He provides what i need, including an income, a place to rest my head, food. tithing is a sign of faith that He will provide, but you must take that first step in tighthing. as a christian, i am thankful for all that i have and not grumbling (as the Israelites in Exodus) for the things that i don't have and not be envious of material things.
a pastor/minister needs to eat, have a home, provide for his family, etc ... just as we all must. i'm VERY happy that i can tithe so that my pastor is taken care of. it would be better to question your minister's/pastor's heart and where he is with God more than the way he spends money. if his heart is in the right place, then the questions of money should disolve. we are required to be good stewards of all that God provides (including our funds).
just a quick fact: the bible talks more about money (an idol) than it does about hell. thanks for reading ... in Christ, ralph188@hotmail.com
