Re: Family In Need

This case has been in the news here in Texas. I have worked on the campaign for just about every person listed to contact. They are good, Christian, conservative, Republicans who definitely understand the issue of parental rights v. bureocratic (sp) policy. Greg Abbot, the Texas Attorney General, is into health. A tree fell on him while he was out running one day. Now he lives in a wheelchair. Awesome guy. Loves the Lord.

People in Texas are beginning to get behind this case. CPS, the child welfare department for the state of Texas, is notorious for being a type of brute squad. For the past couple of legislative sessions, legislators have successfully taken some of CPS's power away.

This week the legislature is in a special session to try to solve our school finance problems. It might be a good time to contact these folks.

Thanks, Lapis, for bringing this to our attention.

Special blessings for you,
-Donna
