This is very confusing to me
Hi
Why people are waiting for Jesus Christ come back at this time?
I always I thought that I may die and next day He could come.
But, indeed It is not true that HE is in my heart anyway? It is not true that when I was saved and I invited him to be my Lord and I was born again HE came to live in my heart? By Faith I need to believe HE ies with me all the times.
Is this not true? Do I misunderstand something? So, If we need healing in our suffering, we can trust him right now, ask for health, joy, patience etc? I have been very sick for years, and I have had hard times. SO I can relate to the question from the poster but I do not understand why she wants HIM to come back, if we can receive HIS blessings now.
John 14:26
26But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
1 Corinthians 3:16
16Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?
1 Corinthians 5:4
4When you are assembled in the name of our Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present
2 Corinthians 1
The God of All Comfort
3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort
Additionally:
Matthew 24
36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
2 Peter 3
8But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
And finally, it is not tru that we need to go into the world and teach all nations?
Matt 28:19-20
"And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come" (Matt 24:14; par. Mark 13:10).
