Re: help! repeat root canal or extraction ??

I have the same problem. About 10 years ago I had a root canal done by a
endodontist and had infection show up a few years later.Went to a different
dentist had the root canal redone.Last year had infection again, had xray
done by my general dentist and he says I need ANOTHER root canal.I haven't
had it done yet, been keeping it at bay for now, used collodial (sp) silver
when the pus showed up. I can feel pressure on the gum so I know it's there.
All this out of my pocket no insurance. I'm a 55 year old female in excellent
health. I read everything alternative I can find to educate myself.I too am
thinking of having it pulled (3rd tooth from the back). Another thing that
bugged me is my general dentist couldn't wait to give ne a business card of
a new young endodontist that opened up a practice in our town.Like she's gonna
make it all better.
