Re: Christianity may have started from a mushroom cult?

I seem to remember annointing oil and mud being used by Jesus on different occasions. Who knows what types of herbs Christ may have used. I don't see that denying the use of herbs is the right message? Herbs can be used for good and then there are those that believe all herbs are witchcraft. If you have ever taken an aspirin then maybe you should think again? Herbs are much less toxic than most drugs being pushed by the pharma-companies and I think herbs are a kinder gentler way to deal with life. The mushroom cult thing seems a bit radical but herbs are not. The Bible is full of herbal remedies. I imagine there are many herbal Jewish remedies that were passed from generation to generation, and never made it to the final cut in Jewish sacred texts, but that doesn't mean they were not useful. The Holy Spirit is all we need but sometimes the Holy Spirit might lead you to use garlic or a Liver Flush or some other remedy to heal your body. Knock. Knock.
What do you think?
