Thanks for bringing back an nice memory. When I was growing up my Dad had some 78's. My favorites were Ravel's "Bolero" which took three sides of the oversized records to get through the whole piece. That is the first music I remember hearing, I must have heard it in the womb. Daddy also had Chopin's Polonaise #6 in A Flat, still my favorite piano piece. I can close my eyes and still hear that haunting music. Another favorite I remember was a country fiddle playing "Soldier's Joy", a song I'm still trying to play on my dulcimers.
