Re: Favorite actors? Favorite actresses? Why? Where?
My first favorite was Val Kilmer, as soon as I saw Tombstone I fell in love with him. Then reading about him, he is eccentric, deep thinker, just liked him even more. I use my favorite quote of his as my email signature "I don't make any pretense of being normal, I'm not." He lives in a log cabin in Sante Fe with no electricity, and the amount of work he puts into getting to know his roles is amazine. E.G. for "At First Sight" he visited with the real fellow (it was based on a real story) and walked around New York with his eyes closed trying to get the feel of being blind. Then I found Russel Crowe...he's my number two favorite. I have a Tivo and I have it set to record all of his movies on my wishlist. I love the roles he chooses, and how true to life they often are. Gladiator was the saddest movie I've ever seen...surpassed the Color Purple even. I never cry at movies but those two tore my heart out! I also like Nicolas Cage, Kenneth Brangnan sp? (I love Much Ado About Nothing!) John Cusack, and Keanu Reeves.
Hum, I've read that Meg Ryan is a pretty sure lesbian and was just going with Dennis Quaid for a front? And that Russel Crowe is going to donate his sperm to her so she can have another baby (the first was artificially ensimated) and not do it the old fashioned way. They sure made it sound convincing anyway...but I don't know. As to her being nuts for giving Quaid up, we never know what is going on so we can't judge her heart I think. But then again, Hollywood relationships just don't seem to last--to much selfishness IMO. And other females that had their lips done and looked better beforehand, have you seen Laura Flynn Boyle? Yuck! They got it lopsided badly! Was she trying to take off the focus that she is horribly anenoric looking? Courtney Love's lips didn't look so hot either...
Ok, female actresses I like Sandra Bullock (except Miss Congeniality, didn't care for that one) Julia Roberts (always wanted hair as red as hers, love several of her movies) Sally Field, and I cannot remember the lady from Titanic but I just loved her...
