Don Knotts

I don't know about you, but I learned a lot about life watching "The Andy Griffith Show." Don Knotts, who played the lovable Deputy Barney Fife, was such a presence on the show. He died this past weekend and it is a death that millions of people will mourn for a long time. For me, it's like losing a member of my family.

I don't think there will ever be another TV show that made us laugh more and learn more about life. Everyday you can watch a re-run of "The Andy Griffith Show" and never get tired of it. More than likely, it will be a show you have seen hundreds of times, but you never get tired of watching Barney and Andy. Don Knotts said his favorite episode was the show when Aunt Bea made the pickles. Remember?

Personally, I don't have a favorite because I love ALL of them. You laugh until your sides hurt, but then there is NEVER a time you don't have a "lesson learned" from the show.

Barney, we will miss you.
