American Idol - Latoya sent home??!! WHY?

I am so upset! America, what are you thinking? Who on earth voted for Jasmine, when ALL THREE OTHER SINGERS ARE SO MUCH BETTER?!? Jasmine is a sweet girl and all that, but she is SO amateurish when compared to the other three, sorry, and her voice can't keep up with the others, either. She KNOWS she should be OUT, but it is AMERICA who should feel guilty!

My sister thinks there are racial lines, people want different races to win each competition, or at least to have a variety in the mix. Now, nothing wrong with diversity. But do people ignore their ears and their eyes and just vote by race? Do they vote because Jasmine is "hot"? "cute"? My head is spinning, you saw everyone crying, that is because the best singer was booted out. PLEASE explain why or how people are voting, if you know.

(by the way I'm american and I have no problems with any of the different races, I just thought this was a singing/talent/performance competition and that people would judge accordingly, not playing irrational "favorites". Another beef I had was why in the world John Stevens stayed in the competition for near that long?!) Tweet
