Re: How about tooth implants???

I ask the same question of the surgeon who extracted my root canals and he said he didn't recommend implants. Said they are not without problems and harder to get out than the root canals were. That's hard to imagine in my case.

I also asked my regular dentist, and he also said he didn't recommend them. He didn't elaborate.

All of this might have been because my my personal situation, I don't know. I never take anybodys word for anything with out doing some research. I found internet sites that said that there can be problems and that people with certain heath risks shouldn't get them, Smokers also.

On the other hand people that don't have problems with them really like them. Seems like there's not one answer to your question that fits all.
