I just gave the greatest excuse

Fancy lunch meeting - folks all around. Melanie - why aren't you eating, this food is fabulous!

"oh, I'm having my blood tested this afternoon, and I'm supposed to fast right now".

Response: "oh - okay".

None of this "what are you doing, why, what - are you nuts".

Of course it's only going to work one time with the same group of people, but I'm NOT going to cheat on my last day!
