Getting ready to start in 2 weeks - questions

Hi everyone -
My wife and I will be starting the Master-Cleanse in about 2 weeks ( when our book and supplies come in )

Had a quick question ( and it may sound dumb ) - can you use toothpaste on the MC? The furry white tongue is bothering me a little ( at work I am sometimes in close quarters with associates ).
