Hi Patty,
You can do this :) It's only 10 days and consider it time that your taking for "yourself". Mind you, I cheated on day 4, but I'm now on day 12 and am SO glad I didn't just throw in the towel. I am going for 15 days (only 3 more to go - yahhh).
Believe me, you'll feel so much better about yourself.
Just a couple of tips:
I cleared my calendar for 2 weeks. I cheated on the day we went to the baseball game and couldn't resist. I had no willpower "back then" though.
If your husband isn't going to participate with you, please try to get his support. My husband has been such a dear (even going to the store the first few days when I couldn't take it).
But the best results have been on the scale. I had a Dr. Appt on day 1. I weighed 217. Today I went back and I weighed 204! That's a 13 pound weightloss in 11 days (or 11 1/2). My goal weight is 175 -- only 29
pounds to go!
Hang in there - it does get easier.
