And I didn't use olive oil! You can find more details about stones on this site, that's where I got all of my info. Here are some things to consider:

-90% of the western population have stones, aparently
-I actually pulled a few of mine out and examined them. Most were dark green, some were a greeny tan colour. They were not that hard...kind of like the feeling (I did it with kleenex, so don't be grossed) of crushing clay between your fingers
-liver/gall stones are mainly made of cholesterol and bile, which explains why they're soft. This was the most important detail, because I thought they would be hard as rocks.

Hopefully this will help you. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Most people get rid of the stones by doing a Liver Flush (lemon and olive oil...yuck!)...I have no idea how many others actually passed stones on an MC.

The point is, there wasn't a single thing that happened so far during this fast that was hard to deal with. I think your body will release things when it is ready to do so. Keep in mind, though, that I've taken very few drugs (even prescription) in my life, I never smoked and don't drink. I was definitely overweight and out of shape when I started this thing, but this is a secondary thought...I don't think weight affects the results of a fast, though some who have much to lose could lose weight faster during the first part of the fast, but even that is not a guaranteed common result. I'm 32, by the way.

Oh, hey...your weightloss is right on target. Remember that some of the posters who post major weight loss are men...they tend to lose faster. I've lost 26 pounds in 25 days...at times I was averaging less than a pound a day. Don't focus on the weight. Health is the key. It all feels good when you look back and see where you started.

Ultimately, I think any long fast - actually, any fast at all! - should be approached with an open mind. Your experience could be totally different from mine. Your body is different.

Good luck!
