Lithotripsy

Hi Everyone, I have been reading your posts for awhile now. I tried the Liver Cleanses since last May and I am still having GB attacks. I had an ultrasound done on the 7th of April and was diagnosed with gallstones. I have a date with the surgeon this Thursday. Has anyone out there ever tried the Lithotripsy method of gallstone removal? I have been asked two or three times this week if I would make that choice if given to me. I just want all this pain to be over and done with.
Any input would be appreciated. I work for a chiropractor and he says he knew someone who had the lithotripsy done and it was very painful.
