Re: Diet Question

I had great success with vegetables when my gall bladder was really acting up, when I first started Liver Flushing to the pain and gall stones.

I juiced a lot. Radishes are especially good to use in juice. Radishes are very good for the gall bladder !

The things to avoid are :

red meat, all of it
fried food
fast food
milk and dairy products, especially ice cream and cheese
coffee
chocolate
alcohol
aspartame (in lots of processed foods and all diet sodas)
processed food
white sugar
white flour

The good things are fresh vegetables and fruits. Use some kind of oil once you do a few flushes so your gall bladder can tolerate it. Olive oil, coconut oil and flax seed oil are some good oils.

I got away with eating small amounts of boiled chicken, with no skin. I made a lot of mung beans with the chicken. Mung beans are excellent food and also very good for the gall bladder.

Apples and more apples !! Green ones are the best.

I cannot think of any fruits or vegetables that gave me any trouble. I ate them mostly raw, some lightly steamed.

Good luck.

You may want to go see the liver/gall bladder flushing forum. You will need to get started doing Liver Flushes and the sooner the better.
