hidden cyst ruptured during gallbladder removal

my mother is 71 and two weekw ago had her gallbladder removed. whether or not it was actually the right thing to do, who knows, but she felt it right and necessary. for her flushing was out of the question, end of conversation.

while in surgery, somewhere during the process, a cyst that had gone undetected and was hidden behind the gallbladder, burst. after surgery a drainage tube was inserted into one of the four incisions and now shows a yellow discharge along with some blood. she was also given Antibiotics and has finished the prescription. she still is in alot of pain that include sharp shooting pains and at her last appointment, was told the toxins still remain in her.

any thoughts or comments on how to help or what i might do for my mother would be greatly appreciated.
