What good will flushing the liver do???

What good will flushing the liver do for gall bladder problems and getting rid of gall stones? I have done the gall stone removal with olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice along with peppermint oil to suppress nausea while doing the stone cleansing and all the results I got was being nauseated and going to the bathroom and elimnating something about the size of dried up china berries that were kind of spongy floating on the surface of the water in the commode bowl. These were not gall stones. GAll stones will not float.

So what is with this liver flushing?
