Re: First GB attack -- need advice

Hi,
you said: "Do you have any recommendations for me? I meet with the surgeon today and am going to beg/plead whatever I have to do to keep my GB. "

It is YOUR gallbladder, you do not have to beg/plead to keep it, do some flushing. You have been fasting, but have you been flushing? I would suggest that you add some fiber to your diet even if you keep up with the meal replacements to help get the stones out of your colon once you flush. Gallbladder problems are a symptom of a larger problem with your liver, removing it will only relieve the symptoms for a while. I have had mine removed and the symptoms were only slightly releived, 3 years or so after having it removed I learned about flushing, still in the process (only done 4 flushes) but feel better then after having gb removed. Just my two cents, but remember, you are in control of your health, doctors are not gods, nor are they the police forcing you to surgery Whatever decion you make it is YOURS to make. Good luck making your decision.
Anna
